BOOKING & PRICING

It is recommended to book your event as early in advance as possible to ensure availability. To secure your date a non-refundable retainer (generally 35%) is due at the time of scheduling. Although 35% of the total order is the general standard retainer amount, certain large scale events may require a 50% retainer. The remaining balance must be paid at least 72 hours prior to the picnic date. If your picnic is booked within 7 days of your event, full payment is required at the time of booking. This pertains to bookings totaling under $500.

*For custom cakes ($100 & up) and larger events ($500 & up) invoices should be paid in full 20 days prior to the event. A payment plan is possible but will be null & void with full payment due within 5 days if any payment is missed. Available plan is: three (3) payment installments (first installment of 50% of total price, then 25% thereafter) will be accepted for showers and other large events like Micro weddings.

*Pricing and themed packages may vary depending on the location and size of your event.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

We deliver and set up your picnic and food before you and your guests arrive. Once you and your guests arrive, we leave and allow you to fully enjoy the experience during the reserved time. You are responsible for the items for the duration of the picnic for the standard 1.5 hrs. and any extended time purchased. We take care of all clean-up necessary!

*If you decide to end your picnic sooner than the reservation end time- please contact us with the phone number provided and allow us 20 minutes to arrive back at the site. 

WEATHER

Weather conditions are a major factor in our planning and preparation. If poor weather is unavoidable, you will receive credit towards another picnic and we can reschedule for a preferred time. *Poor weather for the purposes of this service includes long periods of light rain day of, heavy rain day of, multiple days of rain resulting in overly muddy grounds, thunderstorms at scheduled event time, severe weather advisories, warnings or watches, flooding, temperatures above 96 degrees, AQI above 100. Eden Luxe will honor the request by the client to reschedule for the above mentioned reasons.

  • Wildfire Smoke Airnow.gov for Tompkins County NY: With an AQI of above 100 Eden Luxe reserves the right to reschedule a picnic. A picnic will be rescheduled if the AQI is rated at 150 or above.

RESCHEDULING

You may reschedule your picnic up to two (2) times. This includes event rescheduling initiated by management.

CANCELLATIONS

We do not offer refunds. We do offer a credit towards a future picnic if you provide 48 hours notice that you need to reschedule your picnic. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice and no shows will not receive a credit.

HOURS OF OPERATION

Hours will vary according to the season.

Need your Picnic outside of the general hours of operations? Just ask! Accommodations can be made depending on occasion and availability. An additional service fee of $100 will be applied to breakfast picnics.

Eden Picnics operation reduces to indoor picnics and charcuterie board pick-up from November 15th to May 1st.

Will your Picnic be outside of Tompkins County? No Problem. Contact us with your destination idea and we will do our best to make it happen. Picnics outside of Tompkins County are subject to the current IRS mileage fee of 58.5 cents per mile and will be calculated on a round trip basis from the Tompkins County line.

OTHER/ADDT'L INFO

Payment Methods: Payments are expected in advance. Gratuity is appreciated and can be paid at time of payment or when the picnic is complete (standard rate is 18%-25%). Thank You! Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, PayPal and cash (exact change) are accepted methods of payment.

Food: Customers are encouraged to purchase a dessert or charcuterie through Eden Luxe Picnics with all Luxury Picnic bookings.  Customers can also plan catering of thier choice for the picnic.  Eden Luxe does not assist with the catering coordination or process with vender except for Rashida Sawyer Bakery… HOWEVER... item pick-up/delivery via Eden Luxe is a possibility for an extra fee.  Customers can order a cake or charcuterie board from Eden Luxe Picnics without booking a Luxury Picnic.

Damage : The cost of any broken or missing picnic item with a value higher than $25 will be the customers responsibility to re-pay.

Alcohol: We do not have a license to provide alcohol. With that said, please let us know if Eden Luxe should provide wine glasses for your picnic if you will be bringing your own alcohol. Please note that many parks do not permit alcohol. Eden Luxe will not provide wine glasses for those areas.

Tables: Customer agrees to provide tables for Grazing Table events.

Politics/Causes: Eden Luxe Picnics does not participate in any pickets, stand-ins, strikes, etc. Picnics are not intended to fulfil individual or group political agendas.

Sizes and Customization: There are no in-between sizes for servings or package. Please choose the size picnic and services that fit your party best. Additional picnic guests are welcome for an extra fee.

Gift Cards: Yes! We offer gift cards. Please email for details.

Picnic Length: Booking additional time for your 1.5 hrs. picnic may not always be an option depending on park hrs. and other scheduled picnics, etc. This is especially true if you request the extension during your picnic. Please think ahead to determine if you will need more than 1.5 hrs. for your event and make note of it during the RSVP process.
